The Estwing 4.5 lb Maul with the 36” Fiberglass handle has a special head design that enables a greater force to better split big wood logs. The forged head is hardened up to 50-55 HRC, perfect for cutting lumber, chopping firewood, trimming cutting, as well as splitting and shaping wood. This Maul is crafted with a double-injected handle containing over 70% fiberglass. Along with textured rubber, this enables a superior grip and shock absorption, reducing strain on the hands and arms during use.
